UGL is the most used leadership training program in Sweden. Rezon is one of the most experienced and the biggest companies in arranging UGL in Sweden.

Successful leaders are perceived as credible because they apply a developmental leadership based on self-awareness and social skills. UGL deals with the aspect of leadership and coworking that deals with relationships, that is, how the members of the group influence and are influenced by each other.

Through concrete experiences where both you and the other participants contribute, you gain an understanding of how big an impact group dynamics and group processes have on everything that happens around you, as well as how you handle this. During five full days, you get to train in leadership, to give and receive feedback, to communicate directly and clearly, and to practice conflict management and experience the development of a group.

Purpose and overall objectives

The purpose of UGL is for you to become more effective as a leader, coworker and team member in order to thereby contribute to both individual development and organizational results in your business. UGL’s overall goal is for you to get personal development and tools to develop your own group to become more productive through better collaboration. The various sub-goals of the course are an increased:

• understanding of the impact of emotions on an individual and a group level
• understanding of how values ​​affect relationships and leadership
• experience of the importance of conflicts and their handling
• ability to communicate directly and clearly
• ability to take and give developmental feedback
• ability to see and manage different stages in a group’s development
• understanding of how norms and roles affect the group’s work
• get tools for effective decision-making
• understanding that there are different leadership styles and the importance of one’s own approach to the group’s development
• understanding of the need for leadership

This takes place through tasks, individually as well as groups and by being able to reflect and talk about the experiences after the implementation and to draw conclusions for one’s own part about different thoughts, feelings and behaviors that the task gave rise to.

Rezon works with the developed and revised UGL 2022, where the latest results from research on group processes, group dynamics and leadership have been incorporated. All supervisors certified by the Swedish Defence University.
